healthspan is a European company builder at the intersection of software and medicine. We create ventures where longitudinal data, clinical interpretation, and behavioral feedback make disease risk visible early — and help address it before it becomes expensive or irreversible.
Together with clinicians, researchers, insurers, and institutions, we identify unmet needs in proactive and personalized medicine, build validated solutions to product-market fit, and spin them out as independent companies.

Built with clinicians, not around them
We build in-house with the rigor medicine demands and the speed software allows. Clinicians stay in the process from the first prototype to the last release.

When a venture reaches product-market fit, it leaves healthspan as a standalone company — with its own team, its own funding, and its own direction.
Why healthspan
Most healthcare innovation starts in one of two places: ventures looking for capital, or capital looking for ventures. healthspan combines both deliberately.
We take the capital risk ourselves, build ventures in-house with clinicians and institutions, and only spin them out when they are ready to stand on their own. In medicine, product-market fit requires more than software adoption. It requires clinical evidence, institutional integration, buyer commitment, and clinician trust.
Personalized prevention — better data for better clinical decisions.
Prevention today is fragmented. Blood analytics, glucose data, genetic information, wearables, and lifestyle signals exist, but they are rarely combined into a clinically useful picture.
Our first venture builds the tools and training doctors need to practice personalized prevention seriously — with data interpreted through clinical judgement, not dashboards alone.

Has spent two decades building software that makes risk visible and preventable. As founder and CEO of Dolphin Technologies, he built one of Europe's leading insurance telematics platforms, trusted by VIG, UNIQA, and Generali, and honored with the Austrian State Coat of Arms: software on the edge, data at scale, risk translated into prediction, prediction into behavior change.
The same discipline now applies to health. Medicine today works with snapshots — a blood test, a consultation, a scan. What happens between visits, over years, is the part that decides most outcomes. Better data, interpreted through clinical judgement, is where prevention becomes real.
